CAMBRIDGE DRAWING SOCIETY EXHIBITION AT THE PITT BUILDING

CAMBRIDGE DRAWING SOCIETY EXHIBITION AT THE PITT BUILDING

Six degrees of Separation

The Cambridge Drawing Society exhibit their stunning show this week. Who knew Cambridge had so much (drawing painting printing) talent? Nulla die sine linea is their motto . No day must go by without a drawing? I think. Six Degrees of Separation by national prize winner Stephen Trommans ,is one of their top exhibits among a dazzling range of superb work.

The Pitt Building ( opposite Fizbillies) is a perfect place for this exceptional show. Spacious well lit and superbly well organised within, the work is arranged to surprise at every turn. Leave more time than you imagine you need. There are some wonderful paintings here, sculpture and prints. And if you feel moved to create yourself, there is a welcoming feel to the organisers as if you are tempted into a secret brotherhood for those who know they have it - however deep it lies - inside them ,to join other artists in one of life’s greatest endeavours, the process of making art.
