An. exhibition brilliantly curated by Dr Mark Wormald of Pembroke College opened on two sites - the Cambridge Library ( sadly trammelled by space) and another in the impressive modernity of Pembroke’s new extension in their brand new building opposite the College.

Seamus Heaney’s unpublished poems join work by Ted Hughes alongside artist Barrie Cooke in a free exceptional exhibition at the stunning Pembroke Building Newly revealed fishing photographs combine with an account of their long-held friendship are at the heart of this lovely show, in a beautiful room recently revived from near dereliction.

As are lovely illustration of Virginia Woolf’s poetry by Barrie Cooke.

The lakes and bogs of Ireland feature alongside a passionate plea for the Living Water of the title to run again. Archivist and scholar Joan Winterkorn traveled to County Sligo to diver more material to make this show a unique combination of art and poetry, much of it never seen before.
